Halloween Night will be frightful and delightful on Main Street in Jeffersonville!
The library will be displaying pumpkins from the Jeffersonville Village Halloween Pumpkin Glow and Carving Contest, hosted by the Cambridge Recreation Board with support from the Cambridge Historical Society.
Dig out your carving tools and get ready to show off your most decorative, scariest, funniest or kookiest pumpkin designs! The contest is from 1-4PM between the Sweet House and the Varnum Library. At 4 PM the pumpkins will be displayed on the Varnum’s front porch to the public. Find more information and vote for your favorite carving on the Cambridge Recreation Center’s Facebook.
Then, also on the front porch of the Varnum Library, it's Haunting Tales and Scary Songs - 30 minute shows at 5, 6, and 7 PM. Tale Teller Lesley will share her original stories. Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate will perform his original songs Shark in the Dark, Bones of Jonesy Davy, and new tunes Dark and Stormy Night, and Sea Monsters’ March. Find links to his music at https://rockinronthefriendlypirate.hearnow.com/captains-and-sea-monsters
There will also be Trick or Treating in the Village. Put on your costume and join us for the fun on Sunday, October 31st in Jeffersonville, Vermont!
