What exactly is a watershed? Why is it important? Is my lawn part of a watershed? Through hands-on models, we will learn how rivers move and connect with the landscape around them. In this outdoor program you will create watershed and control the flow of rivers and be the force of erosion. Come ready for water-table exploration. Wear your water shoes or boots! In this program we will head to the Brewster River (a short walk behind the library) to explore and analyze the river and the creatures who call it home. We will hunt for hidden aquatic bugs in our quest to unlock the hidden health messages of the watershed. Join the Lamoille County Conservation District for this fun and interactive program for all ages!
