Investigating Puritan Gravestone Symbols with Jen Bartlau

What is that grinning skull or frowning angel trying to tell us? Why does grave art have to be so creepy? What else can we discover on these 17th & 18th century stones? Join Jen Bartlau as she explores Puritan Gravestone Symbols and discover a greater appreciation for this type of folk-art.

Bio:  Jen is a lifelong Vermonter whose passion is Genealogy. She became a Taphophile (someone who loves cemeteries) when she discovered she was descended from Mary Estey, executed in the Salem Witch Trials. Her favorite way to learn is "History in Person" - visiting the places her ancestors lived and died.
