LRSWMD MYO wrapper chain art

  • Varnum Memorial Library 194 Main Street Jeffersonville, VT 05464 United States (map)

Got chip bags or wrappers? Snack bags and wrappers are packaged in materials that are often challenging to avoid, and impossible to recycle (with a few exceptions). Because they’re multi layered – usually with a plastic, a resin, and a thin coat of aluminum – the components are too challenging to separate for recycling. In this workshop, we will turn old snack bags into paper chains, from which you will have the option to make your own book mark or jewelry. Materials will be provided, including snacks and take-home educational materials, but please try to bring your own snack bags and wrappers. Registration is required.
